Megawat Group OOD and Megawat - S OOD was established in 2008. The main activity of the company is the preparation of terrains for the construction of solar stations.
      The preparation includes: purchasing a terrain in accordance with the power of the solar station, changing the use status, concluding a contract with the electricity company (EON, CEZ, EVN) for buying up in the region in question and providing construction licence.
      Up to that moment the company has developed more than six projects, as a result of which two solar stations will be build up and put into operation till the end of 2009. The stations will have total power of 4 MW.

Environmental priorities
In order that people help the preservation and the restoration of the environment, certain priorities have to be observed:

• Air pollution and regulation of chemicals so as to decrease their influence on human health and on the environment
• Preserving the land as a productive resource and as a material for biodiversity
• Improving the quality and the quantity of fresh water
• Providing ecological conditions in the oceans

The main solution to these tasks can be found through the increased usage of sources of renewable energy, which can substitute some of the limited non-renewable sources, competitively used both by the developing and the developed economies.
